CIC Announces Recent Promotions
Amir Yoffe – Partner
Since joining CIC Partners in 2002, Amir has been an integral part of the firm's growth and success. Amir has been closely involved with the successful closing and value creation at many CIC portfolio companies. As partner, Amir will be actively engaged in all aspects of the firm's investment activities and portfolio management, and will lead CIC's food industry efforts.
Mr. Yoffe currently serves as Chairman of L&L Foods, a niche food packaging business based in Anaheim, California and as a director of Specialty Bakery. Previously, he was a board member at OmniSYS, Combs Produce and actively involved with Legends Hospitality, all CIC portfolio companies. Prior to joining CIC Partners, Mr. Yoffe worked in JP Morgan's Mergers and Acquisitions group in New York, where he advised on public company transactions across various industries.
In addition to his CIC activities, Mr. Yoffe currently sits on the board of Totally Green (OTC: TLGN), an innovator in organic food waste processing and diversion, the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Advisory Board Member at the EnCap Investments and LCM Investments Alternative Management Center at SMU's Cox School of Business.
Mr. Yoffe received a B.S. in Applied Economics & Business Management from Cornell University and received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Bayard Friedman – Vice President
Bayard Friedman is a Vice President of CIC Partners and has been with the firm since 2010. Mr. Friedman presently supports CIC's restaurant and energy initiatives. He has been actively involved in multiple CIC portfolio companies, including Granite City Food & Brewery, OmniSYS, Dale Gas Partners, Magnolia Petroleum, and Taco Mac. Prior to joining CIC, Mr. Friedman worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company where he focused primarily on strategic issues within consumer facing businesses.
Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University where he graduated with honors. He is a member of the Young Professionals in Energy and a Board Advisor to Leadership Edge Inc.
