Operating Partner Profile

Tom Karol is a proven top level executive in the building products industry. Tom currently serves as Chairman of Cornerstone Automation Systems, a CIC portfolio company. Previously, Tom served as Chairman and CEO of Bradco Supply Corp., a leading distributor of roofing, siding, windows and other exterior building products. From 2001 to 2007, he served as the Chairman and CEO of ElkCorp (NYSE: ELK), a leading manufacturer of steep slope roofing, non-woven fabrics, composite lumber and other technologies. He was the owner, President and CEO of Pro Group Holdings through the 1990s where he built the largest distributor of carpet and flooring in the country.
