Hungry for expansion: Tiff's Treats grows in existing markets, reaches into new ones
Tiff's Treats, the Austin-based warm-cookie delivery company with a big appetite for expansion, has signed a lease in to open its fifth San Antonio location next year.
Founded by Tiffany Chen and Leon Chen in 1999, Tiff's Treats has 34 locations in Texas and Georgia, and will soon open its first store in the Nashville area. The company has raised $25 million over the past few years — including an $11 million round closed in November and led by Dallas-based CIC Partners LP.
Its next location in San Antonio will be at 8110 W. Loop 1604 N., in a strip mall next to a Starbucks.
Tiff's Treats first expanded out of state in 2016 with locations in the Atlanta metro. It has added more than a dozen stores in the past year, including its first outpost in College Station.
It's tackling Tennessee next, opening later this year inside a 1,535-square-foot space on the ground floor of a luxury apartment complex, according to The Tennessean.
